  • How long of a log can you cut? 20' long
  • What is the largest diameter log you can cut? 36" diameter
  • What dimensions are your sawmill? 26' long and 10' wide when it's set up.  I'll need room to get my sawmill and pickup truck by the logs and move around.
  • Can I roll the log? Yes, logs are round! I provide peavey hooks so you can roll the logs.
  • Can women do it? Yes! Some of the best workers have been women.
  • Do you cut in the winter? No, the road salt wreaks havoc on the sawmill.
  • Do you quartersaw logs? Yes
  • Is it loud? Yes! Ear plugs are recommended.
  • Where do you cut? It's a portable sawmill so I come to your location.
  • What happens to the sawdust and slabs? Those are yours! I only take away what I bring.
  • What about payment? Cash or check upon completion of the job.
  • When do you cut? Generally schedule late April through October 31.
